At the Library

Animals in Our Community
On August 5, our Summer Readers visited Bradley Brook behind the library to find out what kind of animals might live in and around the brook.

A Visit from Blades
Blades, the mascot of the Boston Bruins, made a visit to our library on July 22! We had a great time visiting with Blades.

A Visit from Blades
Librarian Jennifer read a story, and Blades provided the action!

A Visit from Blades
Blades hung out with library patrons, who also got a chance to make crafts, and pick up some Bruins swag bags.

Welcome
Our Librarian Kate welcomes people to the library for our day with Blades.

Blades and the Library Staff
Jennifer, Emily, and Montana, some of our library staff members, had a great time with Blades too.

Bruins Crafts
The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners sent a team of great people out to help Blades with crafts, and the Russell Library is so appreciative of them!

Eyes to the Sky - September 20
Dawne reads "Hello, Star", our story walk book for the season, at our "Eyes to the Sky" event. Everyone was invited to come look at the stars and planets through the new telescope, which will soon be available for checkout at the library.

Monthly Book Group - September 9
Our Book Group for September read and discussed "Remarkably Bright Creature" by Shelby Van Pelt.
